Altamont Fair

Altamont Fair offers a collection of event spaces at its fairgrounds in Altamont, New York. Organisers can enquire about hiring buildings for conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, swap meets, meetings, weddings, receptions, parties and other gatherings. The range of spaces makes the grounds suitable for both community occasions and larger events that need room for displays or activities.

The Fine Arts and Flower Building is a characterful option for weddings, receptions, graduation celebrations and family reunions. Its access points help with bringing in catering and event equipment, while nearby facilities and a garden walkway leading towards a gazebo add useful features for celebrations. The Agriculture and Science Building provides a spacious, open area with a hard floor and multiple entrances. It has hosted gatherings such as family reunions, antique sales and memorial services.

For events requiring a larger or more distinctive setting, the Cattle Barn can accommodate craft shows, dog and livestock shows, exhibitions and sizeable gatherings. The historic Dutch Barn is another option for meetings, family occasions and tastings, with nearby restrooms and a performance stage close at hand for music or presentations.

Each space has its own character and potential uses, so organisers can discuss which building best suits their event. Enquiries are handled through the fairgrounds' rental process, allowing planners to ask about availability and arrangements for their chosen occasion. The site also has dedicated information for couples considering a wedding at the grounds.
