Uptown Indigo

Set in historic Uptown Shelby, Uptown Indigo offers event spaces in the Campbell Building for weddings, private celebrations and business gatherings. Its characterful setting combines original architectural details with a chic, industrial-inspired interior, giving organisers a distinctive backdrop for both formal occasions and relaxed parties.

The venue includes the Indigo Ballroom, a spacious room for ceremonies, receptions and larger gatherings, as well as Steeples, an upper-floor space connected to a rooftop terrace with views across Shelby towards the surrounding mountains. The Underground adds a separate speakeasy-style bar setting. Organisers can hire individual spaces or bring different areas together to suit their plans. The venue reports hosting events for groups from around 25 people up to 220 seated guests.

Uptown Indigo explicitly welcomes weddings, including ceremonies, receptions and vow renewals. Wedding arrangements can include preparation suites, tables and chairs, planned furniture layouts, an on-site venue manager and consultations with the venue coordinator. Couples may choose their own insured suppliers or discuss a curated, more inclusive option. Caterers can use the venue's preparation facilities, while bar service is available through the venue.

The spaces are also offered for birthdays, anniversaries, dance parties, company dinners, retreats and holiday events. Tables, chairs, lighting and sound facilities are among the features available to organisers, with layouts adapted to the event. Located in central Shelby, the venue provides access to local parking and welcomes prospective clients to arrange a tour before deciding which space best fits their event.
