Parker Karlov

Parker Karlov is a flexible event space and studio in Chicago's Belmont Gardens neighbourhood, set inside a converted warehouse with an open-plan industrial character. The 10,000 sq ft interior features exposed brick, a timber bow-truss ceiling, polished concrete floors and large windows that bring in natural light. It offers a distinctive backdrop for organisers planning private events, corporate gatherings, pop-up dinners, live music and performances, as well as photo, film and video productions.

The venue can be arranged to suit different event formats, from a standing reception to a seated gathering. On-site furniture available by request includes padded folding chairs, adjustable bistro tables and banquet tables. Organisers can also enquire about using the mobile bar, gallery walls and lighting. Practical facilities include a prep kitchen, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning, toilets, office space and a large garage door for convenient load-in. The venue also has substantial electrical capacity and industrial task lighting, useful for productions that need more than a conventional function room.

Parker Karlov is available for hire throughout the week, with minimum booking periods that vary by day. Organisers should include set-up and pack-down in their booking time and arrange general liability insurance for events. External catering can be brought in, giving planners flexibility over food arrangements. The venue is a useful option for event planners seeking a characterful, adaptable Chicago setting that can accommodate both guest-focused occasions and creative work.
