The Enchanted Point

The Enchanted Point is a family-owned wedding and event venue on a nine-acre property near Waxahachie, Midlothian and Ovilla, Texas. Its indoor and outdoor spaces give couples a choice of settings for their ceremony and reception, with open grounds, a covered outdoor area, a deck and several locations for photographs. The reception hall can host up to 200 guests and is designed to work for both ceremonies and evening celebrations, including dancing.

Venue hire includes exclusive use of the property on the booked date, tables and chairs, a sound system and dance lighting. Separate bridal and groom's suites provide space for the wedding party to get ready. A dedicated catering preparation area, refrigeration for flowers or cake, a bar area and an ice machine support the event, while couples can choose their own insured vendors. Optional extras include table and chair set-up, linens, a fire pit and access to horses for photographs. The venue handles clean-up after the event.

Wedding packages are available on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Sundays to Thursdays. Couples can also book additional time on the preceding day for decorating, a rehearsal or a rehearsal dinner. The venue offers payment plans, and a bar service package is required when alcohol is served. Alongside weddings, the spaces are offered for celebrations such as quinceañeras, sweet sixteens, showers, parties and banquets, with shorter-notice rental options also described. Organisers can arrange a tour to view the property and discuss the layout, timings and available options for their event.
