Darwen Library Theatre

Darwen Library Theatre is a bookable performance venue in the heart of Darwen, Lancashire. Its auditorium seats up to 206 people and is suited to organisers planning theatre productions, live music, comedy, literary events and other performances. A fixed stage and tiered seating create clear sightlines throughout the room, helping audiences feel close to the action.

The venue is available to hire, with arrangements tailored to the event. Organisers can contact the team to discuss their plans, requirements and dates, and technical information, including a stage plan and technical specifications, is available to support production planning. This makes the theatre a practical option for touring performers, local arts groups and organisations seeking a compact, seated space for a public or private programme.

Darwen Library Theatre is also an established home for a varied calendar of entertainment, from comedy and music to family shows, drama and community performances. Its programme brings together visiting artists and local activity, giving organisers and audiences a familiar cultural setting in the town. The venue is part of Blackburn with Darwen Venues, which also operates King George's Hall. For a hire enquiry, planners can contact the venue team through the official site and discuss how the auditorium can be arranged for their event.
