South Wind Ranch

South Wind Ranch is a wedding and event venue in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, serving organisers in the Greenville area and across the Upstate. Set across 33 acres of rolling countryside, the property combines mountain views, a spring-fed lake and a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrations and business gatherings.

Couples can hold an outdoor ceremony by the lake, on its island or in the ranch chapel, then continue with a reception in the climate-controlled Celebration Barn. A bridal suite and a cottage with bedrooms, living space and a kitchen provide places to prepare and relax. The venue's team includes wedding planners and coordinators who work with couples on a tailored celebration and can connect them with selected suppliers.

The ranch also welcomes corporate dinners, team events, fundraisers, galas, school functions and private celebrations. Organisers can shape the setting around their event, with capacity for up to 250 seated guests or 300 for a cocktail-style reception. Tables and chairs are available for up to 200 guests, and the site has parking and accessible facilities. There is space for caterers to set up, though the venue does not have a full catering kitchen, so organisers should plan catering with that in mind.

With its barn, chapel, lake and open grounds in one location, South Wind Ranch offers event planners a flexible countryside setting for ceremonies, receptions and gatherings of different kinds.
