Sully Sports & Social Club

Sully Sports & Social Club offers a flexible venue for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events in Sully, near Penarth. Set within extensive grounds overlooking Sully Island and the Bristol Channel, the club combines an indoor function room with outdoor space and a terrace for guests to enjoy during an event.

The function room can be arranged for different occasions, from wedding ceremonies and receptions to birthday parties, children’s parties, training sessions, conferences and larger meetings. For celebrations, the room can be set up to suit the occasion, with a dance floor, bar and space for a DJ or entertainment. Couples can discuss different reception layouts, including more intimate gatherings or traditional dining arrangements.

Organisers can enquire about in-house catering and entertainment, or discuss bringing their own suppliers. The club also works with catering providers for event meals, with options that can be tailored to the occasion. For business gatherings, the venue can support a more formal programme and offer food and bar facilities for the social part of the day.

The wider club includes sports and leisure facilities, which may add informal activities to a company gathering. There is on-site parking, and the grounds offer room to enjoy the surrounding landscape. Event planners can contact the club to discuss their requirements, available arrangements and a quotation.
