Memorial House

Set within Memory Grove Park, just north of downtown Salt Lake City, Memorial House offers a historic setting for weddings, celebrations and business gatherings. The property brings together the character of an elegant old hall with the gardens, lawns and monuments of the surrounding park, giving organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor locations.

For weddings, ceremonies can take place in the Main Hall or at several outdoor spots, including the South Lawn, Meditation Chapel, White Monument and Fountain Area. The Main Hall can also serve as a weather backup for outdoor ceremonies. The venue welcomes other occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, holiday parties and celebrations of life, as well as nonprofit fundraisers and community events.

Corporate organisers can book the venue for dinners, staff celebrations, awards events, meetings, retreats and training sessions. The Main Hall accommodates seated dinners and theatre-style gatherings, while the Garden Room offers a smaller, light-filled space. The South Lawn and adjoining patio add room for guests to mingle or take a break outdoors.

Venue hire includes access to the building and South Lawn, on-site event staff, tables, chairs and some linens. Memorial House does not provide in-house catering, but shares information about preferred catering and other event suppliers. Its team can assist with venue logistics and room arrangements, while organisers work with their chosen vendors on the wider event. The building is operated by Preservation Utah, and rental proceeds help support historic preservation work across the state.
