St Margaret's Braemar

St Margaret's Braemar is a historic church building in the heart of Braemar, now serving as a venue for performances, arts and community events. Its distinctive architecture and atmosphere make it a memorable setting for organisers seeking something different from a conventional function room.

The venue is available to hire for weddings, civil ceremonies and private parties. Couples can consider the space for religious, civil or humanist ceremonies, while party organisers can arrange the room to suit their plans. The flexible interior can be decorated and configured for different occasions, and the venue team can discuss what support the volunteer team may be able to provide. Hire arrangements and costs depend on the booking and the level of assistance required.

Beyond private hire, St Margaret's hosts a year-round programme that includes concerts, exhibitions, talks, festivals and workshops. The building's acoustics make it a natural choice for musical performances, while its central village location and additional breakout spaces also make it suitable for creative workshops and learning activities.

Organisers can enquire about event hire, wedding bookings and performance requirements directly with the venue. Whether planning a celebration or a cultural gathering, visitors will find a historic Braemar setting with a flexible approach to different types of events.
