The Mockingbird Room at Plum Creek

The Mockingbird Room at Plum Creek is a banquet and wedding venue in Kyle, Texas, set within the grounds of Plum Creek Golf Course. Its rooms and outdoor areas suit wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as birthday parties, baby showers, quinceañeras, graduation celebrations, reunions, corporate gatherings and meetings.

The main Mockingbird Room provides space for larger celebrations, with a dance floor and large windows overlooking the grounds. The smaller Bluebonnet Room offers a more intimate setting for occasions such as bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and anniversary parties. The rooms can also be combined for larger gatherings. Couples can choose an indoor ceremony or use an outdoor ceremony area, with the indoor room available as a weather backup. A bridal suite is provided for wedding parties.

Room hire includes tables and chairs, access to a catering kitchen and coordination of the floor layout. Depending on the booking, the venue also includes facility access, event time and a rehearsal run-through. Optional services and extras include event coordination, linen service, cake cutting, security and additional hours. Organisers can bring their own vendors, and the venue allows them access around the event. The team can discuss availability and arrangements during a venue tour.

The golf course setting, covered screened porch and on-site parking offer useful amenities for guests. The venue is conveniently located for events drawing attendees from Kyle, Austin, Buda and nearby Central Texas communities.
