The Haight

The Haight is a family-run event venue in downtown Elgin, Illinois, set inside a restored warehouse dating from 1890. Its exposed brick, timber beams and original character provide a distinctive setting for weddings, private celebrations and business events. Across around 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, organisers can choose from rooms suited to different guest numbers and event styles.

The larger reception space can accommodate gatherings of up to 220 people, while smaller options include a first-floor room for showers, birthdays and other social occasions, a suite for intimate gatherings and a south room for corporate meetings or benefit events. The rooftop deck offers an outdoor setting for ceremonies, drinks receptions, birthdays and networking events, with views across downtown Elgin. Wedding ceremonies can take place indoors or outside, and the venue offers couples exclusive use for the day, without overlapping weddings.

The Haight also hosts corporate and not-for-profit events, graduation parties, bridal and baby showers, mitzvahs, birthdays and celebrations of life. Tables and chairs are available, and some spaces include audiovisual equipment. A venue coordinator is present during events to help keep arrangements on track. The venue does not provide catering or serving staff, so organisers arrange those services with their chosen vendors, subject to venue approval.
