Theater De Boerderij Huizen is a small-scale venue in a distinctive eighteenth-century farmhouse, in the heart of the old village. Its historic atmosphere and personal approach make it a special place for gatherings where connection and attention to detail are central.

Organisers can hire the venue for meetings, presentations, receptions, birthdays, family gatherings and occasions to remember loved ones. De Deel can be arranged flexibly. Business and private gatherings are limited to a maximum of 20 people. The venue will work with you to find the right layout and provide practical support. Food and drink are provided by De Boerderij. A projector and projection screen, a standard lighting and sound system, and technical support are among the facilities available for presentations and gatherings.

De Boerderij is also an official wedding venue for marriage ceremonies. The theatre auditorium can accommodate up to 100 guests, while the more intimate Voorkamer is suitable for ceremonies of up to around 25 people. There are no catering facilities for a reception or party after the ceremony. The venue is in a residential area, so the outdoor space is not included in the hire and evening activities are subject to conditions.

As well as hiring out its space, the theatre organises its own cultural programme, featuring music, cabaret, theatre, lectures and family performances. De Boerderij is both a stage for performers and a characterful venue for suitable gatherings and ceremonies in Huizen.
