Bucyrus Club & Event Center

Bucyrus Club & Event Center is a historic South Milwaukee venue for weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations. Its industrial heritage and restored architectural details give the setting a distinctive character, while a major renovation brought the building up to date for contemporary events. Organisers can choose from several spaces, including two ballrooms, flexible Founder’s Room areas, an outdoor patio and the Bucyrus Museum upstairs. The whole venue can also be hired for larger gatherings.

The rooms suit different formats and guest numbers, from smaller meetings and receptions to dinners, parties and events for up to 400 people across the full site. The museum offers an unusual backdrop for cocktail parties, private viewings and dinners. Wedding couples can plan their day from ceremony through reception, with package options as well as scope to create a more tailored celebration. The venue also hosts anniversaries, birthdays, employee parties, charity galas, awards dinners, club meetings, holiday events and trade shows.

Food and service are part of the event offer, with menus prepared by the venue's catering team. Organisers can discuss plated dinners, buffets, appetisers, drinks and late-night food, with menu choices shaped around the occasion. Venue bookings include support from an event director and event-day coordinator, alongside help with menus and planning details. Couples may also arrange a rehearsal and access for decorating ahead of the wedding, subject to the venue's policies and availability.

Located minutes from downtown Milwaukee, the venue offers free on-site parking and a patio for outdoor time. Its combination of historic surroundings, multiple room options, catering and planning assistance makes it a practical choice for organisers seeking a characterful event venue near Milwaukee.
