Flaherty's Farm Event Barn

Flaherty's Farm Event Barn offers a rural setting for weddings and other gatherings in Scarborough, Maine. The venue sits within a 16-acre event area on a working family farm, bringing together a characterful barn, open fields, a woodland ceremony spot and a historic farmhouse. Organisers can use the different spaces to shape a day that moves from an outdoor ceremony to drinks, dinner and dancing.

The barn has seating and lighting for up to 120 guests. For larger celebrations, the venue describes arrangements that combine a tented dinner beside the barn with the barn used for the reception, dancing and other festivities. A caterer's preparation area is available, giving event planners a practical space to coordinate food service. The woodland gazebo provides an outdoor ceremony setting, with natural oak benches, electricity for music and accessible access.

The 1908 farmhouse adds useful space for wedding parties and visiting guests. It includes a bridal suite, four bedrooms, a full kitchen and sleeping arrangements for up to 15 people. Its large patio and firepit can also suit informal time together or a rehearsal dinner. The farm's location is close to Interstate 95 and within a short drive of Portland's airport and nearby hotels, making it a countryside option with regional transport links. Event planners can enquire about hosting weddings and other events for groups of up to 225 guests.
