The Venue on Main

The Venue on Main offers a characterful ballroom for organisers planning weddings, receptions, birthday celebrations, meetings and other gatherings in downtown Denison. Set inside a restored 1880s building, the indoor space combines original wooden floors, a pressed-tin ceiling, brickwork and structural columns, giving events a distinctive historic setting. The ballroom covers around 2,400 square feet and can accommodate up to 90 guests.

The venue is available for both social and business events, including ceremonies, dinners, reunions, dance events, training sessions and smaller corporate functions. Organisers can book the space for a day or choose a multi-day weekend rental. Weekday options are also offered, including special arrangements for some smaller gatherings and photo sessions. A visit can be arranged to view the room and discuss a planned event.

Rentals include tables and chairs, Wi-Fi, an amplifier with Bluetooth or auxiliary connection, and basic cleaning supplies. Support areas include a utility room with a large sink, a workroom and a smaller room that can be used for changing or AV needs. An accessible rear entrance supports deliveries and event clean-up, and the venue is described as wheelchair accessible. Outside caterers and other vendors are welcome, so organisers can select their own food, photography and music suppliers. Alcohol is permitted subject to applicable rules. Setup and teardown are not provided, so planners should arrange those tasks with their event team and suppliers.
