Ethnic Social Club

The Ethnic Social Club is an intimate event space on the fourth floor of the Heritage Discovery Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. It is available to hire for private celebrations and gatherings, offering a characterful setting for adult birthday parties, smaller receptions, social hours and get-togethers of up to 75 people.

The room takes its atmosphere from Johnstown's historic social clubs. Restored 1940s bar fixtures, furnishings and decorative details create a welcoming backdrop with a strong connection to the area's immigrant and community history. It offers organisers a distinctive alternative to a standard function room, particularly for events where guests can gather comfortably in a more informal setting.

Heritage Johnstown makes the space available for private rentals and also uses it for its own special events and community programmes. Organisers can discuss their preferred date and event requirements with the rentals team. Bartending services can be arranged through the venue, making the club suitable for receptions and social occasions where drinks are part of the plan.

Whether you are planning a milestone birthday, an informal reception or a relaxed gathering with friends, this compact venue brings together a historic interior and a central Johnstown location. Its capacity makes it best suited to smaller groups looking for an atmospheric room rather than a large banquet space. Contact Heritage Johnstown to enquire about availability and rental arrangements.
