Stadthalle Thomas-Müntzer-Haus is centrally located on Altmarkt in Oschatz and rents out versatile rooms for events of various sizes. Event planners will find suitable options here for conferences, workshops, presentations, company celebrations and private parties. The venue also hosts cultural programmes, concerts, dance events and fashion shows.
Five differently designed areas offer flexibility for a range of event formats: the Großer Saal, two smaller halls that can be divided by a partition wall, the gallery, and the Altmarktblick and St. Aegidien Blick rooms. The Großer Saal can be adapted to suit the seating arrangement and type of event. For example, it can accommodate up to 460 people in rows or up to 600 people for a standing concert. The rooms overlooking Altmarkt or St. Aegidien Church are ideal for smaller gatherings, such as meetings, workshops and family celebrations. The gallery is designed for events with around 50 people.
The 280-square-metre foyer, with cloakroom and bar, can be used to welcome guests. Technical facilities include a sound system with microphones, adjustable lighting, a projector and a lectern. Various stage configurations are available for events featuring a stage. Catering can be arranged for the event on request. The team can help with enquiries about room use and bookings. With its combination of a large hall, smaller rooms and a reception area, the venue can be set up for a variety of event schedules.
