Wyrebank

Wyrebank is an exclusive event venue beside the Lancaster Canal in Garstang, Lancashire. The venue welcomes couples, businesses and private groups looking for a dedicated setting for celebrations, meetings and special occasions, with the facilities reserved for the event.

Weddings are a central part of its offer. Couples can enquire about hosting a ceremony and reception at Wyrebank, with a wedding coordinator available to guide the arrangements. The venue has several rooms for ceremonies, including options for more intimate gatherings, and the team can help couples explore menus and local suppliers for elements such as flowers, photography and entertainment.

For private functions, the canal-side suite accommodates up to 120 guests for a seated meal or up to 140 for an evening buffet and dancing. It is suited to birthdays, christenings, family gatherings, anniversaries, community occasions and celebrations of life. The team can discuss tailored menus, while the suite includes air conditioning, integrated sound and event lighting. A screen is also available for displaying photographs at memorial gatherings.

Wyrebank also caters for corporate events, from smaller meetings to larger functions and exhibitions. Organisers can ask about different room sizes and layouts, audiovisual equipment, air-conditioned rooms and outdoor space beside the canal. In-house catering is available, with menus prepared using locally sourced ingredients and adapted to event requirements. Selected decorative items are also available to hire for private occasions.
