Bluestem Center for the Arts

Bluestem Center for the Arts is a multi-purpose event venue in Moorhead, Minnesota, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for organisers planning weddings, business events and community gatherings. Set on a 38-acre park-like campus beside the Red River, the venue combines landscaped grounds and river views with practical event facilities.

Inside Marcil Commons, organisers can choose from a range of rooms for smaller meetings, workshops and board sessions, as well as larger gatherings. The Living Room is a flexible space that can be arranged for uses such as dining or performances. Outside, the Schlossman Pavilion provides a covered setting for ceremonies, receptions and other events, while the grounds can accommodate activities that benefit from open-air space. The Imagine Amphitheater offers a much larger stage and audience setting for performances, conferences and other large-scale gatherings.

The venue hosts weddings, corporate retreats, business conferences, graduation parties, family reunions, community festivals and speaking engagements. Rental options include different spaces and time periods, so organisers can select a setup suited to their event and guest numbers. Wedding use is available during the venue's stated rental season, generally from late September to mid-May. The site also has an educational and performance role as the home of Trollwood Performing Arts School, so organisers should check availability and suitable spaces for their proposed dates.

With a choice of indoor rooms, covered outdoor space, open grounds and a large amphitheater, Bluestem gives event planners a range of settings within one campus. It is suited to occasions from smaller meetings to celebrations and outdoor events with larger audiences.
