The Sinclair of Skaneateles

The Sinclair of Skaneateles is a wedding venue in the Finger Lakes, set in a former chair factory dating back to 1871. Its historic stonework and industrial character give couples a distinctive setting for ceremonies and receptions, with indoor rooms and outdoor areas available for gathering, photographs and time with guests.

The venue offers different wedding packages, including a three-day weekend option and shorter packages for weekday, Sunday and selected off-season dates. Couples can use the venue coordinator for planning visits, floorplan discussions, linen and napkin choices, timeline preparation, rehearsal support and help welcoming guests on the day. An on-grounds ceremony is available as an optional addition.

The venue provides a range of furnishings and practical details for the event, including historic chairs, tables, linens, napkins, lounge seating, high tables, sweetheart tables and decorative accessories. Outdoor furniture, fire pits and a fireplace give guests additional places to gather. The building also has air conditioning, radiant-heated floors, Wi-Fi, sound systems, accessible restrooms and on-site parking with attendants during the first hour of an event.

Food is prepared on site by the executive chef and owner of Rosalie's. For couples seeking nearby accommodation for their group, the venue also offers an optional stay at The Hive Inn, a short distance away, with two houses sleeping more than 16 guests. With planning support, furnishings and indoor and outdoor spaces in one historic location, The Sinclair is equipped to host wedding celebrations across the day and into the evening.
