Hepworth Pavilion and Recreation Ground

Hepworth Pavilion Village Hall is a community venue available to hire for private functions, group activities and local gatherings. Set on Church Lane in Hepworth, near Diss, the hall is tucked among trees beside open grounds, offering a relaxed rural setting for organisers looking for a practical village venue.

The main hall can accommodate up to 80 people standing or 60 seated. Tables and chairs are available, and an equipped kitchen supports organisers preparing refreshments or arranging food for their guests. The building also has toilets and shower rooms. Outside, the recreation ground provides extra space for activities, with a children's play area and parking at the pavilion.

The venue can suit family celebrations, social occasions, clubs, fitness sessions, children's groups and other community activities. Organisers can enquire about one-off or regular bookings, with discounted rates available for regular use. Hire options include hourly, session and full-day bookings, and fees vary for village residents and non-residents. Catering is not described as an in-house service, so planners should ask about arrangements before booking and can make their own provisions.

Located in rural Suffolk, the pavilion is just off the A143 and within reach of Bury St Edmunds, Diss and Thetford. Its combination of indoor space and outdoor grounds makes it a useful choice for organisers who want a simple, flexible setting for a local event. Contact the pavilion team directly to discuss availability, rates and the facilities needed for your booking.
