Harvest View Barn at Hershey Farms

Harvest View Barn at Hershey Farms is a family-run venue in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, offering a countryside setting for weddings and private events. The restored barn combines historic character with modern comforts, including temperature control and accessible facilities. Its indoor spaces can be arranged for ceremonies, receptions, dining, dancing and corporate gatherings, with an indoor seated capacity of around 200 guests.

The venue also provides outdoor settings across its grounds, including a pond, a fountain and an island gazebo. Couples can hold their ceremony outside and move into the barn for the reception, with indoor options available if the weather changes. The property is reserved for one event at a time, giving each booking exclusive use of the venue on the event day.

Wedding packages vary by guest numbers and access time. Depending on the package, they include tables, chairs, décor items, a day-of coordinator, a rehearsal period and access to the neighbouring farmhouse for getting ready. The farmhouse has separate spaces for wedding parties, along with facilities for preparing and relaxing before the celebration. Parking attendants are available to help direct guests.

Beyond weddings, Harvest View Barn welcomes events such as showers, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirement celebrations, reunions and corporate functions. Special event packages are tailored to the booking. The venue does not provide catering itself, but it supplies a curated list of caterers and other recommended vendors. Organisers can enquire about dates, arrange a tour and discuss the event format and guest count with the team.
