Retreat at Rhodes

Retreat at Rhodes is a private event venue in Lubbock, Texas, offering indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrations and group gatherings. Its 1,800-square-foot indoor room can seat up to 80 guests, while a covered patio and spacious garden provide extra room to mingle, enjoy the outdoors or play garden games. The combination gives organisers options for different event styles and for gatherings that move between inside and outside.

The venue is suited to occasions such as birthday parties, family celebrations and work events. Organisers can arrange the room to suit their plans, and the venue welcomes food brought in by guests or supplied by a caterer of their choice. Alcohol may also be brought in subject to the venue's stated insurance requirements. This flexibility lets hosts select their own food and drink arrangements rather than relying on a fixed catering package.

The rental includes practical facilities such as tables and folding chairs, a preparation kitchen with refrigeration and dishwashing facilities, an ice machine, on-site parking and Wi-Fi. TVs and a portable PA system with a microphone and karaoke are available for presentations or entertainment. Outside, guests can use the patio seating, yard games, fire pits and heaters. Additional items, including linens and decorative backdrops, can be hired for an extra charge.

Bookings are available by the hour, with different weekday and weekend rates and a minimum hire period. A cleaning fee applies, and organisers should include set-up and pack-down time when choosing their booking. Event planners can contact the venue to check availability, arrange a visit and discuss their event requirements.
