Ontmoetingscentrum De Looierij offers associations, organisers and other groups a venue for a wide range of gatherings in Gijzegem, a district of Aalst. The former leather factory has been given a new purpose as a community centre and has several rooms available to hire.

The large hall can accommodate around 150 people and is suitable for activities that require a spacious, flexible venue. These could include a reception, dinner event, neighbourhood or association activity, performance, talk or meeting. Smaller groups can use a meeting room with space for around 30 participants. This allows organisers to choose a room that suits the size and format of their activity.

A professional kitchen is available, which is useful when food is prepared or served during a gathering. The venue is used for a wide range of local activities, making it a practical base for organisers looking for a hall in the Aalst area. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. The large hall has a maximum capacity of 150 people and an area of around 140 square metres.

Anyone organising a meeting, festive gathering or association activity can find a suitable room at De Looierij. The combination of a large hall, a smaller meeting room and kitchen facilities makes the venue suitable for both small gatherings and larger group activities. Contact the community centre directly to ask about hire options and availability.
