The Colonnade

The Colonnade is an event venue in Scranton, Pennsylvania, offering a distinctive setting for weddings and private celebrations. Set in a historic property, it brings together indoor event rooms and an outdoor terrace, giving organisers options for different parts of an occasion, from a ceremony or drinks reception to a seated meal and evening celebration.

Weddings are a central part of the venue's offering. The space is also suited to bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays and anniversaries. Organisers can enquire about using the venue for their date and guest numbers, and arrange a tour to view the rooms. Its different spaces can accommodate both larger gatherings and more intimate events. The main event area can seat up to 120 guests, with smaller rooms available for private gatherings. The terrace can also provide extra event space when weather permits.

The Colonnade is managed alongside other hospitality and event services by POSH Events. Organisers can discuss food and service options for their occasion, as well as floral design through the group's floral service. The venue also has established connections with recommended officiants, musicians and other event suppliers, which can help couples source additional elements for their plans.

With its historic character, several indoor spaces and outdoor terrace, The Colonnade offers event planners a venue for celebrations that benefit from a warm, traditional setting. It is particularly well suited to weddings and social occasions where ceremony, dining and time with guests can be brought together at one location.
