Maysonnave House

Maysonnave House is a historic private event venue in central Sonoma, offering organisers an intimate setting for weddings, celebrations and business gatherings. Built around 1910, the Folk Victorian house retains the character of an early Sonoma home, while its garden, lawn and fountain patio provide attractive outdoor space for ceremonies, receptions and entertaining. The property is close to Sonoma Plaza, giving guests easy access to the town centre and its wine-country surroundings.

The house and gardens can accommodate events for up to 100 guests. Couples can host a ceremony on site, with the option of using both the garden and house for a smaller ceremony and reception. The venue also welcomes birthdays, bridal showers, anniversaries, retirement parties and other private celebrations. For corporate organisers, the house can be hired for smaller meetings and dinner parties, as well as client events, planning sessions, team gatherings and product launches. The house-only option is suited to groups of up to 12.

Hire is for the venue itself, so organisers can arrange their own catering and event suppliers. The property can accommodate a range of food formats, including catered meals, barbecues, food trucks and speciality carts. A carriage house provides a practical area for catering preparation, and the venue can share recommendations for experienced local vendors. Additional planning and coordination support is available for a separate fee, including help with set-up, clean-up, deliveries and finding suppliers. Accessibility features include rear parking and access, plus an accessible bathroom in the carriage house on request. Event hire fees contribute to the care of the historic property.
