Förderverein Unser Fritz 2/3 e. V.

Zur Künstlerzeche 10, 44653 Herne, Germany

Künstlerzeche Unser Fritz 2/3 offers event spaces on a former colliery site in Herne. The historic buildings and industrial architecture give celebrations and cultural events a distinctive setting. The site includes the Fördermaschinenhalle and the Kauen, among other spaces, which are also used for exhibitions and cultural programmes.

The Fördermaschinenhalle is of particular interest to event planners. Its distinctive acoustics make it a suitable venue for concerts, readings and other events. Private occasions can also be held there. The different areas at Künstlerzeche offer a range of possibilities, depending on the occasion and the desired character of the event. Those looking for a venue with historic ambience rather than a neutral hall will find a striking setting here in the Ruhr region.

Alongside venue hire, art and culture are central to the site. The exhibition spaces host changing presentations of contemporary art. Künstlerzeche also organises concerts in a range of genres, markets and other cultural activities. This brings creative work, industrial heritage and events together in one place.

The venue is on Zur Künstlerzeche in Herne and can be reached by public transport. Enquiries about hiring the spaces can be made directly to the supporting association. Anyone planning a private celebration, concert, reading or another event should discuss the specific room options and conditions directly.
