The Power House at Rocky Mount Mills

The Power House at Rocky Mount Mills is an event venue in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, set within a restored historic mill beside the Tar River. Its original brickwork, timber beams and tall windows bring character to a setting designed for contemporary celebrations and business gatherings.

The venue offers several spaces, including a multi-level main hall with a mezzanine, an open-air terrace and courtyard areas. The River Overlook provides a more intimate option, while the riverfront patio gives guests an outdoor place to gather. The main space is listed for seated events of up to 280 guests and standing receptions of up to 400. The venue also describes a smaller room for secondary gatherings and breakout use. Tables and chairs are available, and stage lighting and audiovisual equipment can support presentations and programmes.

Weddings and receptions are a central part of the offering, alongside rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, birthdays, anniversaries, showers and other social occasions. The spaces can also host corporate meetings, conferences, seminars and off-site gatherings. Couples planning a wedding are required to book a licensed, insured planner from the venue's preferred list. Catering is arranged through preferred partners, while the venue provides beverage service, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

A venue representative is available during events, and the property has accessible facilities and a large on-site car park. Guests can also make use of the wider Rocky Mount Mills campus, with restaurants, breweries and nearby tiny-house accommodation. This combination of flexible event rooms, outdoor settings and campus amenities makes the venue suitable for organisers planning anything from a business meeting to a full wedding celebration.
