Het Verenigingsgebouw

Hoofdweg 116, 9341 BK Veenhuizen, Netherlands

Het Verenigingsgebouw is a historic event venue in Veenhuizen, housed in a grand building dating from 1922. The bright rooms, high ceilings and distinctive details give gatherings their own character. Organisers can host business meetings, corporate parties, weddings, family celebrations, dinners, drinks receptions and memorial gatherings here.

The venue's different rooms can accommodate both small groups and larger parties. For meetings, there are spaces for intimate gatherings as well as rooms for more than 150 people. The layout can be tailored to the programme, and meeting packages can include room hire, coffee, tea, refreshments, lunch and audiovisual equipment. A heritage walk or a guided break with a guide is also available.

For festive occasions, the team can help plan a suitable event, for example with a buffet, barbecue, dinner or drinks reception. The venue has a particular focus on weddings, from an intimate ceremony to a larger celebration. There are also options for family celebrations and gatherings after a funeral. Other unique venues are also available in and around Veenhuizen, including church buildings for events.

The services go beyond room hire. Het Verenigingsgebouw provides catering and bar services at your venue, can supply staff, and hires out items including a beer tap, mobile bar and outdoor furniture. Packages with local guides or activity providers are available for business or social programmes. This allows organisers to put together a gathering with a venue, food and drink, and additional activities tailored to its purpose and group.
