The Ninth Floor Club + Venue

The Ninth Floor Club + Venue is a private event venue on the ninth floor of the Ruffin Building in downtown Wichita. Formerly known as the Petroleum Club of Wichita, it welcomes event organisers seeking a distinctive setting for weddings, receptions, business meetings and private celebrations. The elevated location offers views across the city, while the venue's mix of banquet and private dining spaces suits both larger gatherings and more intimate occasions.

The Grand Banquet Room has a wooden dance floor and can be combined with the adjoining South View Room for events with more than 200 guests. Smaller private rooms provide options for business luncheons, strategy sessions and dinners. Meeting facilities include presentation equipment such as televisions, projectors, whiteboards, microphones and sound systems, making the venue suitable for professional gatherings as well as social occasions.

Event support is available from the venue's team, including planning and coordination, room set-up and clear-up, in-house styling, lighting, sound and DJ or master of ceremonies services. Organisers can also arrange full-service or buffet dining from the culinary team, alongside bar service and hospitality staff. Wedding bookings can include ceremony and reception arrangements, and selected private events may have access to Cloud 9, the club's cigar and spirits lounge, subject to its access terms.

The venue is open to the public for private event hire, although the club's regular dining and social facilities are primarily for members and their guests. Covered parking and a covered building entrance help simplify arrival for guests. With its downtown address, dedicated event spaces and support across planning, catering and production, The Ninth Floor offers organisers a well-equipped setting for occasions ranging from business gatherings to wedding celebrations.
