Chautauqua Community House

Chautauqua Community House is a historic event venue in Boulder, Colorado, offering indoor spaces for weddings, private celebrations, meetings and retreats. Built in 1918, the building combines period character with a setting close to the Flatirons, making it a distinctive choice for organisers planning gatherings in the area.

The main-floor Grand Assembly provides a welcoming space for larger gatherings, with hardwood floors, a fireplace and access to a covered porch. On the lower level, the Rocky Mountain Climbers' Club has rustic stone walls and its own fireplace, creating a relaxed backdrop for a luncheon or midsize meeting. The Meadows Room offers a quieter option for smaller groups and focused sessions. Together, the rooms give planners a choice of atmospheres and layouts for different occasions.

The venue is part of the wider Colorado Chautauqua campus, where organisers can explore additional event spaces, accommodation and dining options. The Chautauqua team can help with planning enquiries, and catering can be arranged through the campus dining service. The location also offers access to the surrounding grounds and mountain scenery, with outdoor areas and nearby trails adding possibilities for breaks or group activities.

For couples, the Community House is promoted as a wedding setting, with rooms that can serve different parts of the day. Businesses and other groups can enquire about meetings, retreats and social events. Its historic architecture, multiple event rooms and campus amenities make it a flexible venue for planners seeking a characterful setting in Boulder.
