The Village House at Litchfield

The Village House at Litchfield is an indoor and outdoor venue in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, for weddings, receptions and other private or group celebrations. Its mix of event spaces gives organisers options for different parts of an occasion, from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor dinner and evening reception.

The outdoor courtyard and gazebo provide a garden setting beside a pond, while the indoor ballroom offers a welcoming space for dining and dancing. Distinctive details include dark timber floors, copper bars and a stone fireplace. The venue also has rooms for the wedding party to get ready, along with covered outdoor areas that can be used as guests gather and celebrations unfold.

Couples can plan ceremonies and receptions on site, with indoor alternatives available if outdoor plans need to change. The venue also accommodates rehearsal dinners, showers, engagement celebrations and other special events. Its event team can discuss room arrangements, set-up and the practical details of a booking, and work with organisers and their chosen suppliers.

Food and drink options are available for events, including catering and bar service arranged through the venue. Organisers can discuss menu formats, service needs and event requirements as part of their planning. The combination of indoor and outdoor areas makes it possible to shape the day around the guest list and preferred atmosphere, whether the occasion is a smaller gathering or a larger celebration. Located along Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island, The Village House at Litchfield offers event planners a dedicated local venue for weddings and celebrations on the South Carolina coast.
