Langwith Bassett Hall

Langwith Bassett Hall is a rural community venue available to hire in Upper Langwith, near Mansfield. Its flexible main hall suits a range of gatherings, from birthday parties, christenings and small weddings to funeral receptions, clubs, classes, meetings, conferences and exhibitions. The hall can accommodate up to 60 guests seated or 80 standing, making it a practical choice for smaller occasions and local groups.

Facilities include tables and chairs, an equipped kitchen with crockery and utensils, accessible entry and facilities, and outdoor space with picnic benches. There is a small private car park, with room for around 15 cars. Hirers can book the hall throughout the week, with daytime and evening availability. The venue is managed by a volunteer committee on a not-for-profit basis and serves the surrounding community as well as private and business organisers.

For funeral receptions, the hall also offers an all-inclusive option arranged in association with Mill Catering. Depending on the booking, this can combine room hire, buffet catering, table setting, staff support and clearing up. Other arrangements can be discussed with the hall committee. Organisers should note that hirers are responsible for setting out and putting away the furniture and for cleaning after their event.
