Waterloo Greenway Conservancy

Waterloo Greenway Conservancy offers event organisers access to distinctive outdoor spaces in the heart of downtown Austin. Its setting follows Waller Creek and connects landscaped parkland, trails and gathering places, giving organisers a choice of natural backdrops for public, private and community events.

The available spaces include Symphony Square, an urban complex with a 350-seat open-air amphitheatre and renovated buildings. It can be hired for private and community occasions. Waterloo Greenway also manages the wider park setting, including Waterloo Park, where green lawns and garden areas provide an outdoor option for gatherings. Moody Amphitheater is another prominent part of the park landscape, with a large-scale stage and capacity suited to major live performances.

Organisers can submit a rental enquiry with details such as the event format, preferred location, expected attendance, dates and set-up requirements. The application also asks about possible needs including heavy equipment, overnight security, waste containers and bar services, helping the team assess the request. Events may be free and open to the public, ticketed or private.

The spaces are suited to planners seeking an outdoor location rather than a conventional hotel ballroom or meeting room. The creekside surroundings, established paths and landscaped grounds create a setting for receptions, community functions, company gatherings and cultural programmes. As availability, capacity and arrangements depend on the selected location and event, organisers should share their plans through the venue rental enquiry process before making detailed commitments.
