Alte Kantine Wedding
- Uferstraße 8-11, 13357 Berlin, Germany
Alte Kantine Wedding is a rentable event venue in the Uferhallen in Berlin’s Wedding district. In the rooms of a former canteen belonging to Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe, the industrial character of the historic site is combined with a versatile space for private and business occasions.
The event space can accommodate a range of formats and seating arrangements. Depending on the plans, it is suitable for celebrations, workshops, seminars, rehearsals, readings, film screenings or exhibitions. The on-site kitchen can also be incorporated into the event. An adjoining garden complements the indoor spaces and provides an opportunity for breaks or spending time outdoors. The venue can be hired exclusively, allowing event organisers to organise the schedule and layout to suit the occasion.
Alte Kantine also offers a bar and, depending on the event, suitable technical equipment, including lighting and sound equipment as well as presentation facilities. Support with delivery can be requested if needed. The rooms can be used both for focused work sessions and for social gatherings. Its location on the Uferhallen cultural site places the venue in an environment with studios, dance and rehearsal spaces, as well as other cultural uses.
For event organisers looking for a characterful Berlin venue with indoor space, a kitchen and an outdoor area, Alte Kantine Wedding offers a flexible setting. The specific room layout, equipment and use can be adapted to the event format.
