The Grande Ballroom

The Grande Ballroom is a historic event venue in New Braunfels, Texas, available for weddings and a range of private and corporate gatherings. The restored former hotel offers organisers a characterful indoor setting, with French Quarter-inspired details including gas lighting, chandeliers and a grand staircase. Couples can use the ballroom for both their ceremony and reception, with seating for up to 150 guests.

A covered courtyard provides extra space for guests to gather over drinks or appetisers, or for additional seating. The venue also has a dressing room, central heating and air conditioning, and a caterer's pantry to support event preparations. Tables and chairs are available, with set-up offered for an additional fee. Day-of staff help keep the venue running during the event, and the ballroom is accessible to guests with mobility needs.

The Grande can suit more than weddings. Its event offering includes rehearsal dinners, showers, birthday celebrations, quinceañeras, proms, graduations, anniversaries, family reunions, corporate functions and fundraisers. Organisers can ask about the venue's preferred professional vendors when planning suppliers for their occasion.

For wedding parties or guests who would like to stay nearby, Milltown also offers on-site lodging in cabins, with accommodation for up to 36 people. The ballroom is open throughout the year, and visits are arranged by appointment. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss their event, guest numbers, availability and pricing, then arrange a tour to see the space and its facilities.
