The Pastor's Study

The Pastor's Study is a historic event venue on Main Street in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. Set on the building's second floor, the restored space offers around 2,500 square feet for weddings, concerts, parties and other gatherings. Its historic character gives events a distinctive setting, while updated facilities support practical event needs.

The room can be arranged for different occasions, from a wedding celebration or private party to a business gathering. The venue provides chairs, church pews, round dining tables, buffet tables and high tables as part of the space. A bar and food preparation room, with a refrigerator, freezer, sink and worktop, are also available for event use. Organisers can review the venue's floor plan when considering how to arrange the room.

The rental period is traditionally from midday to midnight, with some flexibility for special timing requests. Half-day hire is offered on selected weekdays, and consecutive-day bookings may be eligible for a discount. Set-up and breakdown are handled by the renter, including returning items to their original positions and removing rubbish, so planners should account for this when scheduling their event.

Located in the heart of downtown, the venue has parking garages on either side of the block, with hotels and short-term accommodation nearby. Organisers can request a reservation through the venue's enquiry process and discuss the details of their plans directly with the venue.
