The Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen brings to life the stories of people who used to live around the Zuiderzee. See, hear, feel, taste and smell the daily life around the Zuiderzee, before the Afsluitdijk changed it permanently into the IJsselmeer.

From a relaxing day out to a surprising game program. We offer a suitable package for every group and every occasion. We also have two restaurants where (large) groups can have lunch, drinks and dinner.

In the outdoor museum there are several historical spaces for meetings, company presentations and other business meetings.

Outside opening hours, the museum can be booked as a unique location for a (company) event. Imagine ... a complete village completely exclusive for all employees or relations!

In the outdoor museum located on the IJsselmeer, the rope-maker, blacksmith and various other craftsmen demonstrate the tricks of their trade. The guests can sail on the field barge over the canals or taste a freshly smoked fish.

A special theme is of course also possible. Together with you we give substance to your own, unique event. This makes an (evening) opening very special!
