NewVic@Tisbury

NewVic@Tisbury offers two village halls for hire in the centre of Tisbury, providing flexible indoor spaces for organisers planning community gatherings, performances, meetings, classes and private celebrations. The Victoria Hall has a stage and can seat up to 140 people in closely arranged rows, or accommodate up to 80 with tables and chairs. The smaller Elizabeth Hall seats up to 50 in rows or 30 with tables and chairs, making it a practical option for more intimate gatherings and activities.

The halls are used for a varied programme that includes theatre, music, presentations, dance and exercise classes, as well as meetings. Organisers can enquire about hiring the spaces for their own activities and productions, and an online booking link is available. The facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, described as registered with the Environmental Officer. The Victoria Hall has also been refurbished with updated electrical fittings and audio-visual equipment, and Wi-Fi is available. Organisers should contact the hall to check which equipment and arrangements are available for a particular booking.

Based at 5a High Street, NewVic@Tisbury is run as a community arts and cultural hub by a volunteer management committee. The venue also hosts its own programme of live music, theatre, film and other cultural events, but external hirers can enquire about using the halls for their own events. Its two room sizes and stage-equipped main hall offer useful choices for local groups, organisers and presenters seeking an accessible village venue in Wiltshire.
