Cinema Rix is a neighbourhood cinema in Deurne and, alongside its own film and activities programme, also offers rooms for hire for socio-cultural activities. Hire is subject to terms and conditions and availability. Private parties are not permitted. Organisers can choose from several spaces, including the cinema, the multi-purpose room, the foyer, Barix and a room on the first floor.

The cinema has a permanent stage, a large projection screen and room for up to 165 visitors. Its technical equipment includes digital film projection, sound systems, microphones and stage lighting. This makes the room suitable for film screenings, performances, talks and presentations, among other events. The multi-purpose room can accommodate up to 250 people standing or 150 seated. There are also rooms with a more limited capacity for smaller gatherings.

If an application is approved, a member of the technical team can help assess what is needed for the programme. This makes it possible to discuss practical and technical requirements in advance. The venue is accessible by public transport and bicycle, and has a lift. Coffee, tea and water are available for meetings under a specific arrangement. Anyone using the bar must buy drinks from the venue.

Cinema Rix is therefore particularly suitable for organisers looking to hold a cultural event in an established cinema and performance setting. The hire conditions, availability and technical facilities are important considerations when planning an event.
