The Barn in the Gardens

The Barn in the Gardens is a rustic barn and garden venue in Alloway, South Jersey, available to hire for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. Its country setting combines an indoor reception space with lawns and garden areas, giving organisers options for ceremonies, drinks receptions and time outdoors with guests.

The barn is furnished with long wooden tables and has seating for around 96 guests, with additional tables and chairs available. Inside, a vintage lounge area offers a relaxed place to sit and socialise, while the food service area can be arranged for a buffet, desserts, a cake display or a food truck service. The venue also has an outdoor ceremony area with a wooden arbor and chairs, plus a fire pit and space for lawn games.

For weddings, the venue provides practical details to help couples and their suppliers plan the day, including guidance on set-up, timings, music and clear-up. An eight-hour hire period is described, with additional hours available. The barn has a speaker and microphone for hosts who do not need a DJ, and a small bar trailer can be used for drinks, coffee or snacks. Organisers can work with their chosen caterer or food truck, so catering is arranged separately.

The setting suits couples looking for a countryside wedding location, as well as hosts planning showers, parties or other private events. Its indoor and outdoor areas and rustic character give event planners a flexible backdrop for gatherings with a personal, informal feel.
