Homewood

Homewood is a wedding and event venue in Asheville, set in a restored 1920s stone manor in the historic Montford neighbourhood. Its period architecture, original hardwood floors, rich timber details and Appalachian stone fireplaces give the property a distinctive setting for celebrations and gatherings.

The venue offers a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces. Couples can hold a ceremony in the garden or inside the Great Room, with its high ceilings and substantial stone fireplace. Reception layouts can make use of the Great Room, Study and foyers, with the surrounding grounds extending the options for outdoor drinks or a tented gathering. The Great Room can seat just over 110 guests for dinner with room for dancing, while a cocktail-style arrangement can accommodate about 150 people indoors.

Homewood is particularly suited to weddings, including intimate ceremonies and receptions, and also welcomes other private and corporate events. The venue offers customisable packages and all-inclusive options. For food, organisers select from an approved group of caterers, while the venue's required partners provide event coordination and bar service. Couples may choose other suppliers for photography, flowers, music and additional event needs.

The property is less than a mile from downtown Asheville and provides complimentary overnight guest parking. Its combination of historic character, garden grounds and adaptable interior rooms gives event planners several ways to shape an occasion around the building and the needs of their guests. Prospective clients can enquire about pricing and arrange a visit to explore the spaces in person.
