Brookeville Academy

Brookeville Academy is a historic community venue in Brookeville, Maryland, available to hire for private and community gatherings. Its restored stone building dates from the early nineteenth century, with an additional storey and later adaptations giving it a distinctive character. Organisers can choose between two indoor rooms, each accommodating up to 65 people, or combine them for a larger event.

The first-floor dining and meeting room is set up for seated gatherings, with tables and upholstered chairs included in the hire. Upstairs, the lecture hall has a small raised stage, original pine flooring and high ceilings, making it suitable for talks, seminars, classes and smaller receptions. A buffet corridor and catering kitchen support events where food is served, while wireless internet access and accessible facilities add practical convenience. Parking is available on and off the street.

Outside, the Academy's lawn can extend an indoor celebration or provide an outdoor setting for a reception, party or wedding. Depending on conditions, organisers may use tents, canopies and other furnishings. Flexible rental packages are available for different kinds of bookings, from meetings and seminars to dinners, social occasions and cultural events. The venue is managed by the Town of Brookeville, which provides rental information, an availability calendar and booking details. With its historic atmosphere, adaptable rooms and outdoor space, the Academy offers a characterful setting for organisers seeking a smaller venue in the Brookeville area.
