Eight venues are available for a range of event formats. Königssaal is ideal for formal occasions and larger events, while Weinstube, Backhaus and Fasskeller provide a suitable setting for smaller groups. Schlossaltan, Sonnenterrasse, Ottheinrichsbau and Schlosshof can also be booked for receptions, celebrations or outdoor events. Depending on the area, capacities range from around 25 guests to events for 600 people.
The team supports private and business events from initial advice through to delivery. These include wedding receptions, anniversaries, Christmas parties, seminars, conferences and corporate events. Food and drink are tailored to each occasion, and catering outside the castle is also available for larger groups. The catering service caters for events for 60 to 2,000 people and works with selected venues in the Rhine-Neckar region and beyond.
The catering offering includes a gourmet restaurant and a historic Backhaus. This means event planners can enquire about rooms and food together. After a visit, the team prepares a bespoke proposal. Historic architecture, a range of room sizes and flexible options make the castle a suitable venue for events with a distinctive atmosphere in Heidelberg.
