Hewitt Oaks

Hewitt Oaks is a full-service venue in Bluffton, South Carolina, for weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and retreats. Set across 25 acres of live oak groves and lakeside scenery, the property offers a choice of indoor and outdoor locations for gatherings of up to 350 guests.

The Gracie Ballroom features a vaulted ceiling, balcony and fireplace, while courtyards and oak-shaded outdoor spaces provide settings for ceremonies, receptions and drinks. Huling Hall can host meetings and dinners, and the grounds include several distinctive spots for photographs and guest gatherings. Overnight accommodation is available in Connaughton Cottage and Hewitt House.

Organisers can work with an in-house event planner who helps shape the occasion, prepare a proposal and coordinate the details. The venue welcomes a wide range of events, including wedding ceremonies and receptions, galas, fundraisers, company picnics, business meetings, family reunions and retreats. Its event team can tailor arrangements to the occasion and group, from intimate gatherings to larger functions.

Food and drink are prepared on site by the venue's catering team, with menu choices that can include seated or stationed meals, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and custom cocktails. In-house floral artists create bouquets, centrepieces and larger floral installations, while the design collection includes furnishings, linens, tableware, lighting and decor. This combination of venue, planning, catering and styling gives organisers a single team to coordinate with as they plan an event in the Lowcountry.
