Cambridge Marina

Cambridge Marina is a dedicated wedding and event venue beside the River Great Ouse, set among the Cambridgeshire countryside near St Ives. Its riverside grounds, open views and secluded setting provide a distinctive backdrop for occasions ranging from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.

The venue's main spaces include a light-filled marquee and a private island. The marquee can be arranged for dining, entertainment and dancing, while the island offers an outdoor setting for ceremonies. Both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies are available, and the venue is licensed for weddings and civil partnerships. Flexible layouts allow organisers to plan different styles of celebration, from a formal wedding reception to a dinner dance or family gathering.

Cambridge Marina also welcomes corporate events, including conferences, boardroom lunches, award ceremonies, charity events and seasonal parties. The events team discusses each booking with organisers and can help shape a tailored package around the occasion and preferred layout. Catering is available through a selection of recommended caterers, with scope to discuss particular requirements.

For guests travelling from further afield, accommodation is available nearby at the adjoining Pike & Eel. The setting combines event space, outdoor areas and riverside scenery in one location, with parking on site. Located in Needingworth, a short drive from St Ives and Cambridge, Cambridge Marina offers event planners a countryside venue for weddings, private celebrations and business functions throughout the year.
