The Kuku at Park Plaza

The Kuku at Park Plaza is a private-hire venue in Cardiff city centre, suited to organisers planning a celebration with food, drinks and dancing in one place. The space is available for exclusive events and welcomes weddings and evening receptions, engagement parties, birthdays, award ceremonies, fundraising occasions, networking events and corporate gatherings. Festive parties are also among its regular offerings.

Set within the Park Plaza Hotel, The Kuku has its own entrance and a distinctive Moroccan-inspired look, with lantern lighting, copper details and upholstered seating. Across two floors, the venue includes a dance floor and can accommodate up to 150 guests, making it a practical option for larger parties and celebrations. Hotel accommodation is on site, and reduced room rates may be available for wedding guests, subject to the venue's terms.

Organisers can choose from event and party packages featuring canapés or buffet menus, alongside wines and cocktails. The kitchen can also discuss a bespoke menu to suit the occasion. For wedding celebrations, packages include options such as arrival snacks, a celebration cake and a red-carpet welcome, with details depending on the day and booking. The events team handles enquiries and can advise on arrangements, guest numbers and package options.

With a central location on Greyfriars Road, The Kuku offers a dedicated setting for private functions without requiring organisers to hire a separate dance space. Its mix of party-focused facilities, food and drink choices, and nearby hotel rooms makes it especially suitable for wedding receptions, work celebrations and milestone events.
