The Spruces Hudson Valley

The Spruces Hudson Valley is a characterful event venue in Newburgh, set on five acres of lawns, woodland and historic grounds. Its rural feel and outdoor setting offer a distinctive backdrop for weddings, private celebrations, retreats, family reunions, fundraisers and film or photo productions, while remaining within reach of New York City.

The property combines a red barn and stables of around 2,000 square feet with open lawns and private woods. Organisers can use the venue's picnic tables and benches, outdoor furniture, hammock, tree swings, stone fire pit and safari-style tent lounge. Lawn games, including croquet, badminton, bocce and cornhole, give guests options for a relaxed outdoor gathering. There is also room for larger tents and support vehicles, which can help planners shape the site around their event.

The venue takes a flexible approach to hosting. Couples and organisers can bring their own ideas for food and entertainment, with pricing structured according to guest numbers. This makes the grounds suitable for intimate gatherings as well as more involved productions, with arrangements tailored to the scale and style of each event.

The Spruces also rents selected furniture and event pieces separately, including seating, tables, display items and ready-made lounge groupings. These options can add character to an event at the estate or support a project elsewhere. For planners seeking a relaxed, historic setting with room to create a personalised occasion, The Spruces offers a mix of indoor space, open-air scenery and useful event amenities.
