Common Space

Common Space offers bookable venues in San Francisco for organisers planning private celebrations, business gatherings and community events. Its spaces are suitable for occasions such as birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, team offsites, meetings, workshops, networking events and wellness sessions. Organisers can check availability and reserve online, or arrange a visit to see a space before booking.

The Loft, at the Fillmore Street address, is a bright, open-plan space of around 900 square feet, with hardwood floors, exposed wooden ceilings and a private patio. It can accommodate up to 70 guests standing. The patio adds outdoor room for guests, while the indoor space can be arranged for different event formats. Tables, chairs, a sofa and other seating are available, along with a kitchenette, Bluetooth speaker, smart television and single-occupancy restroom. The patio closes at 10pm.

Common Space also offers The Shop in the Outer Richmond and The Flat in the Mission District, giving organisers a choice of settings and sizes across the city. The Shop is a smaller, plant-filled space suited to meetings, creative workshops, pop-ups and intimate celebrations. Food and drink arrangements can be flexible, and organisers may bring their own refreshments or work with a caterer.

The venues are designed for gatherings that need a comfortable, well-equipped setting rather than a formal conference centre. Common Space supports prospective hirers with venue tours and booking information, and promotes community ticketed events hosted at The Loft. Nearby parking options and local amenities vary by location, so organisers can check the individual venue details when planning their event.
