River City Venues

River City Venues offers a collection of distinctive event spaces beside the Mississippi River in New Orleans. Its range of indoor and outdoor settings gives event planners options for gatherings of different styles and sizes, from smaller meetings and luncheons to large receptions, corporate functions, celebrations and concerts.

The portfolio includes the River City Ballroom, a spacious room with high ceilings, alongside the characterful Grand Oaks Mansion, river-facing rooms, outdoor plazas and a large tent. For an especially unusual setting, organisers can also enquire about the Float Den, where Mardi Gras floats and colourful props provide a memorable backdrop. Spaces can be hired separately or combined to create different areas for one event, such as a main reception with adjoining rooms for smaller gatherings.

The venue team provides event coordination and technical support, including on-site audiovisual assistance and Wi-Fi. Planners can discuss catering with the venue's recommended caterers or arrange an outside provider. The team can also connect organisers with rental companies for items such as furniture, tableware and linens. For corporate groups, the site describes options including team-building activities, such as mask-making and mini float-building workshops.

Set close to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and cruise terminals, the venue is convenient for visiting delegates and guests. River views, open-air areas and a distinctly New Orleans setting give organisers scope to shape events that feel connected to the city, whether they are planning a business gathering, a lively celebration or a large-scale production.
